There is a lot less spam since we are running on the new phpBB version, so administrator activation of newly registered members isn´t necessary at the moment. We returned to the standard process:
After registration you should receive an activation email with an activation link in it. Clicking on this link will bring you back to the forum and show us that your email address is real. You then have become a registered member of the Sexsoundlovers Community.
Activation emails sometimes don´t send or get caught by spam filters. Usually we still activate newly registered members who didn´t finish the registration process within some time manually. If you didn´t receive the activation email, please try first to login with your member´s data and only if that doesn´t work, send an email using the contact function of the board.
Email activation increasingly doesn´t work for these reasons:
Misspelled email address, technically problematic email provider (such as hotmail) or your government is convinced that strict censorship is a good idea (China, North Corea, UK, Canada).
