Hello everyone,
I bought a Tascam-05 some time ago, which has the gain of the microphones to be set from 0 to 100.
In the hotel from room to room my ears heard quite well .... the Tascam with gain at 15 ..... unfortunately I did not register any noise ... if not something really far away.
Then the next time I set it to 75 .... but the background noise was deafening ... even this time nothing to do.
I ask you Masters what gain setting should I put to record from room to room how my ears hear?
Thank you all
Sorry for my broken English

Re: Tascam-05
Hello Calico Jack,
Your question appears to be very equipment specific, I would suggest perhaps searching for an equipment forum to see if any others may have had a similar experience. I was unable to find a "Tascam-05" forum, but did find a few on Tascam-DR05. That piece of equipment seems to be more music production oriented.
